Equipment

We supply all equipment and personal floatation devices.

Groups

Group size is normally kept to a maximum of four, however given a little time we may be able to accommodate larger groups.

What to bring

Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring sun protection, a hat,  a towel and a change of clothes. We will provide soft drinks when we finish and water to take on the boats. Remember anything you bring will get wet. Please ensure any valuables such as phones, camera’s, car keys, expensive sun glasses etc are left left at home, in the car or well sealed in zip lock plastic bags.

Grades

We have given each kayaking route a grade based on normal calm waters, see here for Grade details. We cannot control the weather and therefore occasionally  in the case of adverse weather or poor sea conditions have to change the planed location or in extreme cases postpone the trip.

Where we go

	Paddle around the Burj Al Arab	Grade
	We launch from the public beach. paddle out around 360 restaruant and then go on towards the Burj Al Arab. For a slightly longer journey we can follow the shoreline until we reach our turning point under a shaded pier. Price AED250 per person. 2-4 persons. Open water, Tidal.

	Kayak & Camp	Grade

	We use area’s in Abu Dhabi, RAK and Musandam for our kayak and camping trips. The location will depend on your ability, amount of time we have and what you want to see. Please contact for full details and to discuss your requirements. Price for a typical overnight package for four persons AED3200  Open water.Tidal

	Dubai Marina – Option 1	Grade
	We launch from the public beach near JBR. A short paddle in the open water leads us to the shelter and flat waters of Dubai Marina. We can paddle for any distance up to  2 1/2km before turning around to return to our launch point. For a circular trip to include a 1200m open water paddle see option 2. 	Dubai Marina – Option 2	Grade
	We launch from the public beach near JBR. A short paddle in open water takes us into Dubai Marina for about 2 1/2km of gentle paddling. We exit the marina the other end for a few hundred meters of tough paddling around the headland. Our final stretch is about 800m of open water to take us back to our start point. Price AED250 per person. 2-4 persons.   Open water. Tidal. Strenuous exit

	Ajman Mangroves	Grade
	Our Ajam mangrove paddle is about an hours drive north of Dubai. After negotiating a few hundred meters of of open water which can be running quite fast we enter the calm mangrove channels. You should see see plenty of wild birds jumping fish and on a good turtles. Price AED450 per person. 2-4 persons.          Open water to sheltered mangroves. Tidal. Initial water on entry can be fast running

	Open water	Grade
	For the more experienced paddler we can offer an open water paddle launching from various sites in Dubai. Contact us to discuss options. Price AED350 per person. 2-4 persons. Open water to sheltered mangroves. Tidal.
