Dates
Please check our home page for dates. We always have a hike going out on the first Friday of the month and often twice a month. If you have a group of friends or family we can arrange a private booking for your hike.
Our leaders
All our hikes are lead by trained staff. Some with international mountain leader qualifications and others with extensive site specific training for the routes we follow. If you have any questions regarding any routes or our leaders please the about us page or contact us.

| This mountain hike starts on a well used donkey path before crossing a few minor wadi’s to reach a broad shoulder to the summit. the hike takes about six hours and requires a good level of fitness. A good introduction to mountain hiking. | ![]() |

Hajar Mountains Foothills Hike |

| This hike is a step from our Wadi Taybah hike or our RAK desert hike. The route starts in a wadi near the village of Tywian, slowly rising as we pass through small plantations and farms. the track then becomes steep for a short time to give spectacular views of the foothills of the Hajar Mountains. We then drop back down and circle around to complete our 14km in about 3 1/2 hours. | ![]() |

| Our RAK desert hike takes us through the dunes on good sand tracks. On our way we will see numerous small camel pens, green fields where the bedouin take advantage of an oasis to cultivate crops and a abundance flora & fauna.The hike is not long at about 8km but get quite hard going in the last 2km where we circle back through the dunes to our start point. | ![]() |

| The infamous Stairway to Heaven is a serious mountain route not to be underestimated. To complete the route safely you need a very high level of fitness, experience of exposed mountain routes and basic rock climbing skills. We have no trips planned for 2011 but may offer exceptional small groups guiding services in the future. | ![]() |

| Wadi Taybah follows the route of the old East Coast Road from the village of Quaran to Taybah. The hike takes about 3 hours on easy graded gravel tracks. Ideal as your first venture out into the mountains or for school groups. | ![]() |

Jebel Hafeet - Mountain scramble |

| Jebel Hafeet is probably best known for it’s long winding road leading to the summit car park. Our route begins on the other side of the mountain and follows a series of steep wadi’s to the true summit. The route is a serious mountain route with many exposed and loose sections. You need to have prior mountain experience and have a good level of fitness for this mountain day out. | ![]() |

| The 10km long mountain road that winds it’s way up Jebel Hafeet is steep and relentless. We make the journey more tolerable by providing drinks stations along the way Your effort will be rewarded with spectacular views over the desert and Al Ain. The walk can be done as either an up only or up and down. Either makes excellent training for anyone who has a trekking holiday such as Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp planned.
