This hike is a step from our Wadi Taybah hike or our RAK desert hike. The route starts in a wadi near the village of Tywian, slowly rising as we pass through small plantations and farms. the track then becomes steep for a short time to give spectacular views of the foothills of the Hajar Mountains. We then drop back down and circle around to complete our 14km in about 3 1/2 hours.

RAK Desert Hike

Desert Hike
Our RAK desert hike takes us through the dunes on good sand tracks. On our way we will see numerous small camel pens, green fields where the bedouin take advantage of an oasis to cultivate crops and a abundance flora & fauna. The hike is not long at about 8km but get quite hard going in the last 2km where we circle back through the dunes to our start point.

Wadi Taybah

Jebel Hafeet - Mountain scramble

Mountain Route
Jebel Hafeet is probably best known for it’s long winding road leading to the summit car park. Our route begins on the other side of the mountain and follows a series of steep wadi’s to the true summit. The route is a serious mountain route with many exposed and loose sections. You need to have prior mountain experience and have a good level of fitness for this mountain day out.

12km Mountain road up Jebel Hafeet

City Walk
The 10km long mountain road that winds it’s way up Jebel Hafeet is steep and relentless. We make the journey more tolerable by providing drinks stations along the way  Your effort will be rewarded with spectacular views over the desert and Al Ain. The walk can be done as either an up only or up and down. Either makes excellent training for anyone who has a trekking holiday such as Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp  planned.   Dates
